Having used a Jayco pop-up camper for many years, what we enjoyed about camping was being outdoors. So we were not interested in having some huge travel trailer to spend time in. We wanted a well designed and comfortable small and light TT. We found that in the Lance 1985. It was the design of the sofa/bed conversion option that made the 1985 model the one we settled on. During the day we have more space and sitting room with the sofa and at night it easily converts into the walk around bed. We also like having the full bathroom. Everything about the Lance is well designed. - Frank from Austin, TX
Quality construction - Kenneth
Convenience and quality of construction. As my wife says, “it’s a little jewel box”.

It's the perfect trailer to go on an adventure and take along your bike. My favorite thing is that I can pull over anywhere, pop out the side tent and sleep without removing the motorcycle. This is a great feature when your in route to your destination and can't make it in one day. - Danny
SIze. I can go anywhere my truck can go. Over night parking at most locations is a benefit.
Self contained (of the grid) camping. The only limitation is the height. - Leroy
The Scout Lite Aliner is so easy to set up. Also, since it is light in weight (less than 1200 lbs) it is easy to pull with my midsize pickup truck. The air conditioner is fantastic in the Texas summer heat. - Thomas
