The latest design breakthrough is a new material and construction to make their trailers lighter, stronger and impervious to floor moisture problems. The use of high strength alloys to create lighter and stronger chassis, and the innovative new structural composite flooring won't rot or swell-- plus it's lighter and far more rigid than typical RV wood flooring. The Chalet trailers are fully insulated from floor to roof and are bolted directly to the frame for increased structural integrity. With this combination of superior engineering and new materials they have been able to cut 170 pounds from their trailers. This is a huge weight savings, and it makes the Chalet trailers possibly the lightest hard-sided models in the world.
